The Foolish Crow

Once a crow was sitting on the branch of a tree. he had a piece of cheese in his beak. Just then a fox walked under the tree.

The fox saw the crow enjoying a piece of cheese. He thought, "Umm, that piece of cheese looks so Yummy! I should have that. I am a clever fox and I deserve it."
The fox quickly made a plan. He wanted the crow to open his mouth so that the piece of cheese would fall down.
The fox walked over to the foot of the tree and greeted the crow. But the crow did not return he greetings. The fox asked, "Well, how are you today?" Still the crow did not answer.

The fox continued, "oh well, you must be god. Your feathers look so shiny and black. Your eyes looks like sparkling diamonds. If only you could sing as good as you look, you will be called the king of all birds."
Happy with all the praise, the crow lifted his head and began to sing. And as he opend his mouth, the cheese fell down. The fox quickly picked up the cheese and ate it. As the crow looked sad for losing the cheese. He cried saying, "Oh no! I dropped my cheese and you ate it." The fox smiled and replied, "You were foolish to believe my false praise. I got what i deserved." Saying this, the fox walked away.
