It was a hot summer day. A thirsty ant was searching for some water. Soon she saw a river. She climbed up on a wall rock to drink water. But while drinking water, she slipped and fell into the river.
A Dove was sitting on the branch of a nearby tree when it saw the ant fall into the river. He quickly took a leaf and dropped into the river.
The ant slowly moved and climbed on the leaf. As the leaf floated and reached the bank of the river, the ant jumped out. She looked up to the tree and thanked the dove.
Some day later, a hunter arrived in the jungle. He saw the dove resting on the tree. He picked up his gun to shoot the dove. But the ant saw the hunter and she quickly climbed on the hunter's foot and bit him. The hunter dropped his gun and cried in pain.The Dove escaped the danger and was saved. He looked down at the ant and thanked her. From that day onwards, the Dove and the Ant became very good friends.
Moral of the story : "If You Do Good, Then Good Will Come To You".
